Hawk House (Harewood Estate) Team

Sara Ussher

The team is, of course, headed by Sara herself, who takes personal charge of all training sessions and oversees every other aspect of Hawks House activity.

Jenny Buckle

Clinic supervisor, Jenny Buckle is Sara's right-hand woman. She is responsible for the care and welfare of all our equine visitors, and also keeps her own horse at Hawks House.

Jenny has worked here for three years and is now very knowledgeable on all aspects of Sara's training. As well as being a competent rider, Jenny is beginning to take over a little of the teaching and is especially talented at seeing the horses movement, and helping riders to improve it. She is always smiling and ready to help in any way she can.

Daisy Ussher

Daisy is now 16 and has done incredibly well well over the past three years. She is fast becoming an accomplished horsewoman with a passion for hunting and competing. She loves to help out at Hawks House in her free time.

Christopher Ussher

Christopher is Sara's husband who, despite being a non-horsey person, is a tremendous source of support. He works as the land agent at Harewood, which enables Sara to use this beautiful location for her equine enterprise.
